Welcome to the Bloor West Village!
This hip Toronto community encompasses a popular shopping district in along Bloor Street between Jane St and over to Ellis park road, and enjoys a high profile in the Toronto Real Estate market.
The larger area includes Runnymede, Swansea and High Park. Bloor West Village created the world's first Business Improvement area in 1970, and residents and visitors alike enjoy the benefits almost 40 years later.
Bloor West Village Real Estate
Bloor West Village is located between two neighbourhoods. To the north is Runnymede, a former streetcar suburb and to the south is Swansea, a former village dating to the 19th century. Bloor West Village is also considered the name of the immediate vicinity of Bloor Street.

The Bloor West Village BIA has promoted a healthy shopping district on Bloor Street.
One will find retailers such as Trixie's, Max's Market, Signature Shoes and New Balance, as well as world-class restaurants such as Villa, Bloom and Yumi Sushi. Additionally, the area is known for its coffee shops, as it is home to two Starbucks, two Timothy's, a Second Cup and a local coffee enterprise called the Coffee Tree.
Parks and Recreation
The Village is very close to High Park - the city's largest and most popular park, a spectacular 400 acres with picnic areas, gardens, animal paddocks, a restaurant, an outdoor amphitheatre, sports facilities, a trackless train, an adventure playground and Grenadier Pond.
