Runnymede Library
Runnymede Library is a great place to do research and it is located directly in the heart of Bloor West Village. Outside you will notice a beautiful antique structure, while inside, the library has been equipped with the latest internet access as well as access to all other branches of the Toronto Public library system
Runnymede Theatre
An interesting place in Bloor West Village is Chapters. This large bookstore now occupies the site that used to be the Runnymede Theatre. The great thing about this Chapters, is that it has kept all original architecture of the antique theatre. In some places it has even reconstructed historical items such as chairs and sculptures
The Ukraininan Festival
The Ukraininan Festival is three-day event takes place on August 26,27 & 28, 2008. This is the Festival's 11th year (it began in 1997) and each time it comes around it continues to get better

Ukrainian Festival celebrates the culture of the surrounding area. The festival has food and Canadian and US. artists, singers, dancers, comedians, choirs and brand name acts from the Ukraine Bloor Street is closed from Runnymede to Jane, the festival has children play areas, booths selling specialty foods, kids have the opportunity to get their face painted, travel through the petting zoo, play games and many other activities
High Park
High Park is the largest and most explored park in Toronto. It is only a ten-minute walk to the main gates. Within the park, many visitors can explore creeks, ravines, rolling hills, and massive woodlands. High Park's location is what creates its own beauty. Situated directly north of Lake Ontario allows the park to be influenced by three major life zones.
Grenadier Pond
High Park is also the home of Toronto's largest pond, Grenadier Pond. The City stocks the pond with fish and people can spend a lazy afternoon fishing in the middle of the city.
