"Thank
you for inviting Pizza Pizza to the 1999 Ukrainian Festival.
With every year, the festival grows by leaps and bounds.
Both our Bloor Street locations did extremely well that
weekend. It is obvious that the Ukrainian Festival has proven
not only to be an exciting cultural festival for the city
but also a positive economic generator for all the local
businesses. The highlight for us was the parade. The streets
were lined 5 to 10 deep from High Park to Jane and the energy
was second only to the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. Our presence
was well received and will prove to be lucrative to our
stores in the area."

"We
are pleased to share in the festivities. It is a very festive
celebration and there were crowds of people on the street.
It is good for the community. Our two TD Bank branches had
the Ukrainian flags hung and lots of balloons. I was in
the parade as a member of the Bloor West Village BIA."
